About Me

 

 

Hi, I’m Heather, and I’m based in the beautiful Glass House Mountains, where I live with my husband and our much-loved dogs.

Animals have always been a central part of my life.

 

Growing up, our home was filled with pets of every kind — dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, and more. Caring for animals quickly became more than just a love; it became a natural calling. As a teenager, I began working in a private dog kennel, where I gained valuable hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and needs.

Today, my husband and I share our home with our two beloved dogs, Aliza, a toy poodle, and Jemima, a Pugalier. Our dogs are truly part of our family, which is exactly how Fur Baby Buddy came to life. I understand the trust it takes to place your pet in someone else’s care, and I treat every animal as if they were my own.

My goal is to create a calm, safe, and positive experience for every pet, ensuring they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved at all times. I am police checked, fully insured, and trained in pet first aid, giving you peace of mind that your fur, feather, or scale babies are in capable and compassionate hands.
